Court in the competition for the design of the Agenda 2030 trophy

The FAD, commissioned by Barcelona City Council, is organising a competition to design the trophy to be awarded to the winners of the first and subsequent editions of the Barcelona Agenda 2030 Awards. These awards aim to become the annual event that celebrates and vindicates the contribution of all local actors in the achievement of the SDGs (United Nations Sustainable Development Goals). They will reward concrete, measurable initiatives with results that demonstrate with facts the real application of the 2030 Agenda and that have a positive impact on one or more of the 17 SDGs.

 

On this occasion, the FAD counted on us to be members of the competition jury. Emiliana Design Studio won the award with an iconic design that connects with the graphic identity of the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). At the same time, the piece reflects the values of the 2030 Agenda, due to the use of ceramic monomaterial with local clays, sustainable production and energy efficiency in its manufacture, among other goals established by the United Nations General Assembly in 2015.
