Evaluation of the performance of padel sports servitization

The environmental and economic performance of a servitization model applied to padel was evaluated, demonstrating the real potential of circularity when action is taken at the system level rather than focusing solely on the material.
Without modifying the ball and keeping the product standard, the model based on recovery, reconditioning, and reintroduction into use makes it possible to achieve a reduction in cumulative environmental impact of close to 90%, together with a 20% improvement in economic competitiveness.
The results confirm that sustainability can be profitable and scalable when it is designed from the business model and operational perspective.
