A high-end beverage brand interested in incorporating sustainable materials into the packaging of its next product commissioned us with a project to study the industrial feasibility of materials from organic waste and its application in packaging. All the selected materials come from waste generated during the manufacture of the product itself, so that the final packaging embodies the entire narrative of the product through its materiality. Label, inner packaging and outer packaging form a series of layers between the consumer and the product, skins that, like a living being, protect and communicate what they contain.
