We tend to associate design with something aesthetic and often not very useful. Nothing could be further from the truth. Good design is that which achieves the perfect combination between the form and function of what is being projected. Because, at the end of the day, everything is design. Even architecture. That is why it is logical that great architects of our time, such as Enric Miralles, have conceived the design of their work as a whole: from the structure of the building to the furniture that helps to achieve the quality of life we all aspire to have. We will visit a building that follows this trend: Casa Bloc. A project conceived in the Republican era that was intended for the working class. We will talk to the architect and designer Teresa Sapey and find out why Jean Nouvel called it "Madame Parking". And we will discover how quality design can be made from recycling waste.
