Nova Impala

The VIVA project was born with a question: What would an Impala look like if it were designed today? With the aim of reviving an irreplaceable classic and adapting it to our time, the new model has been designed on the mechanical basis of a Honda CB125F. It combines the classic essence of Leopoldo Milá's original design with contemporary automotive technology and design lines.

To achieve this, the methodology of emotional design was followed to create a connection between the user, the product, and the brand that goes beyond the rational. Additionally, a reverse engineering process was conducted using 3D scanning of the mechanical base as a starting point. Then, new components were designed using specific 3D CAD software with regulated parameters. It's a blend of future technology and a nod to the past.
